BaconReader for Reddit App Reviews

The app itself is excellent, but the new font in the latest update seems completely unnecessary. It feels like a change made just to make a change.

Newest update breaks many things. Cant post comments without app crashing. Links posted in comments dont open. They now open in an outside browser that never loads.

I see you updated to the San Francisco font... Sell outs. Also I hate that I have to swipe to get rid of an image/gif. Tapping was so much less energy. Whatever, Im gonna keep using your app because its still better than the Reddit app. But I want you to know that you dont have to change stuff just for the sake of change.

Love this app. Really simplifies the experience in a well cut good looking app that works and I am never disappointed after perusing. If anything I spend too much time on the app. Its better than ifunny lolbucket poctofile combined.

I take back any negative comment I may have made about this app. Once I figured out how to use it I realized that theres no going back, this is home now.

I loved the app before the last update. Now there are major function deficiencies. Looking for another Reddit browser.

Since alien blue is gone bacon reader is the best one out there. The official app isnt nearly as good.

BaconReader has always been great. Its the only reddit app that has ever felt like a proper mobile version of the desktop site. With the 3.0 release, it gets even better. Gesture support is something Ive been waiting for for a long time, and now its finally here!

The app is even better with the recent update! The browser is much better, love the symbols for karma. Thanks!

The official Reddit app isnt bad by any means but I still prefer bacon reader. Clean, simple, and non invasive.

I especially like the night mode.

I was incredibly dismayed to find that, after the many years, alien blue was no more and in its stead was that trash reddit official app. Thank god for Bacon.

Except the removal of tapping to leave an image. Not happy with that change. Tapping was so much easier. Im almost hesitant to click pics now.

In the previous versions, you can tap anywhere on the full screen image to exit it. Now you have to swipe down, and the animation takes about 0.5 sec vs being instantaneous. Bring bring back the tap!

The official Reddit app is only for iPhone. Thank you for being smarter with your app. Much appreciated.

With the latest update I feel like this thing took a nice leap forward. Became my go-to Reddit app for sure.

Fix the back button on the top left now no one can see it. An update in the wrong direction!!

The latest update was useless. The new font makes it difficult to read compared to the previous font. I barely want to use the app now. Please change it back.

Tried a few Reddit apps and this, by far, is the most convenient in my opinion.
